Daytona Infield Pre-race

I have no idea who these lady's were, but since they walked around in race suits marketing Nascar, I thought why not get a picture.

1989 Christopher Columbus

Boyhood home of Christopher Columbus?
Genoa, Italy

That's me knocking on the door. Although the sign says home of Christopher Columbus and it was built during that time period. I've read several articles stating it's not his home. So who knows.

Attended the game with friends Chaz and Mike while my ship was ported in New York City for "Fleet Week" Myself and a few other friends got free admission since we showed up in uniform. We had seats in the nose bleed section behind home plate until we noticed a low game attendence so we moved down near first base."

1987 Labor and Delivery

1987 Labor and Delivery
Naval Hospital, Millington, Tennessee

After arriving to my first duty station I was given the option to choose the department that interest me. The choices were General Inpatient Ward, Nursery and Labor and Delivery. Of course I picked L&D thinking it would be an exciting place to work, and was I right. In this picture I finished setting up the delivery room for a delivery. I usually stand in this spot assisting the doctor with the sterile instruments located on the table to my right.

Mrs Blackman was the Principal, had Mrs. Walker for 1st grade, Mrs. Flowers for 3rd, Mrs. Wag for 6th and Mrs. Jones for 5th and 6th grade math. For some reason I'm unable to remember the other teacher's names.

First Home

Childhood home
21 Portsmouth Dr., Little Rock, Arkansas

This picture was probably taken in 1985. This is my childhood home, from birth through high school. I will never forget the seven large pine trees in the front yard and all the pine needles that was raked. The red truck was my step-dad's.

1971 Kidergarten

Graduating Kindergarten 1971
Sunset Baptist Church, Sunset Lane, Little Rock, Arkansas

That's me in the brown suit. I remember a few things at Sunset Lane, like playing in the gravel rocks around the swing sets. Also, collecting Easter eggs in the play ground area.

To this day, if I smell the scent of liquid pine-sol, it brings me back to my kindergarten days. Every day after lunch we took naps on old four legged cots, while the cafeteria was mopped. I thought this had to be the cleanest place on earth.

Once, and I mean once, I remember my mom putting fingernail polish on me the night before school. I didn't think much of it at the time, bur remembered I had it on the next morning. At lunch I kept one hand under the table and the other grasped my fork so my fingernails wouldn't show. That was a a bad day.

One time I took the shoe strings out of my shoe and the teacher got upset, because I couldn't remember what I did with them.
